About the Clinic

Broken Coast Therapy was created out of a desire to provide a healing space that offers virtual sessions to meet you where you are.

The clinic was founded on Vancouver Island, on the traditional lands of the Cowichan Tribes. We feel incredibly grateful to live, work, and play in such a beautiful, grounding place.

Our intention is to serve the community through tailoring our services to your unique needs. We welcome individuals from all walks of life, experiences and backgrounds. If the support you require extends beyond our services, we are committed to offering you guidance toward the right resources and trusted professionals.

Meet the Clinic Director & Clinical Counsellor:

“Welcome - I’m so glad you are here!

Owning & operating a therapy clinic wasn’t always part of my original plan. After pursuing my Master’s degree, the vision of creating a clinic just felt like a natural next step. It allows me to support my clients without any traditional constraints, while promoting a healthy work-life balance that enables me to be fully present - both for my clients and in my own life. My passion for this project began as I started to reflect on what it means to foster meaningful connection in my life.

Conversations are powerful & what we say matters. Talking as simple as it is, is a way to share a part of ourselves with others. The words we say & hear can have a significant impact on how we think, feel, and act in our day-to-day lives.

Therapy isn’t easy. You don’t always want to attend session; nor do you necessarily want to invest your time or money. But when it feels right, I encourage you to try! It may be messy, filled with loud emotions, and nagging thoughts, but taking the time to sort through what we want to keep & what to let go will often give us insight into ourselves that is healing in nature.

If I can make one wish, it is that you come away from each therapy session having learned one new idea; that could be as gentle as giving yourself permission to take up space, or as subtle as increasing your body awareness, helping you feel more grounded, present, and in tune with yourself.

In my experience, the most meaningful change occurs when we come to session ready to speak openly about our challenges. It’s in that honesty and willingness to be seen that our shared humanity shines the brightest.”
